Hello my name is Saul. Hopefully I will be able to teach you how to get your site ranking in the leading search engines of the world; Google, Yahoo, and MSN. My job is to get you to be able to make a site, host it on the internet, and finally have it "get found".
You are probably wondering, "Why would I want to know how to make a site?" It is simple. There is so much money out there in the industry world waiting to just be given out. Businesses never stop being made, and so there will always be the need for making sites. Our teacher, Mr. Wallace, taught us that this is the best way to make money out there in the industry world. Think about it. What all do you have to invest? Computer, a few software items, and online hosting. Thats it! You only need the knowledge to make one of these suckers. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Lets Get Started! First we will start with the basics. If you have any knowldege of writing code, then your already ahead of the game. Lets start with basic HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). Generally it looks like this:

You can start making your site locally (on your computer) and later be able to upload it to a host. A host is a computer that is always turned on that will keep your site on the WWW so that people can view it. All you need to start off is a computer, notepad, and browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.). You can start by putting the HTML code in your notepad. Now sites have extensions such as .html or .htm at the end of the url. All home files are usually called index and the extension, .htm or .html as we previously discussed. So you can name this file, under file save as, "index.html", and be able to view it in a browser. Now you go to where the file is located and right click > open with > Internet Explorer.
Congratulations! Vuala! Piece of Cake. You have built your first site. It should look like this:
