If you are a member of the spanish club and are planning to go on the Fiesta Texas Trip on May 31st, then you must let me, Saul, know with a confirmation text or email!
If you don't see your name up there please email me with an absolute confirmation that you are going BEFORE MAY 26TH!
The cost will be $50 dollars for the trip. This includes 30 dollars for the ticket and 20 for the gas. It is suggested that you take an extra $50 dollars for for food or souvenirs. We will be having sandwiches for lunch and a cooler with drinks.

Chaperones: Elvia Pellez, Linda Gomez and Mark Vazquez will be our chaperones in the trip. If there is anyone that has parent in mind that would like to go, please [email me] and let me know.
I will be typing up the itinerary this weekend to go out to the parents.

Alright guys, if you would like to become an officer for next year, I would like for you to write an essay of 100 words or more explaining why you would want to hold the position desired, what you would hope to accomplish next year, why should we pick you (what have you done for spanish club this year), and what makes you the best candidate for the position? Enough to get your point accross on Saturday where you will be presenting the speech to us during lunch at Fiesta Texas.
The positions up for grabs are: Vice President, Secretary, Historian, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, and Social Chair.
DON'T TRY OUT IF YOU WON'T HAVE TIME NEXT YEAR! Have a job, internship, or other extra curricular activities that will stop you from applying yourself to the Spanish Club.
Elva is already president due to the fact that some things needed to be taken care of before the end of the year. I feel she is the best candidate for the position but if you are opposed to that decision, text me, and your name will remain anonymous and the position will be up for grabs as well.
2008-2009 Officers will be picked after San Antonio trip while speeches will be presented during our lunch or earlier at San Antonio.

President - Delegates
Vice President - Helps plan with President and delegates in absense of President.
Secretary - The record keeper, in track of sign in sheets, getting things typed, sending out information.
Treasurer - Keeps track of money.
Historian - Takes pictures and creates scrapbook.
Parliamentarian - Keeps order during meetings.
Social Chair - Does all the media job, advertising.
